CDAS Logo Design
After onboarding with UConn AIMS, one of my first projects consisted of me meeting with stakeholders to come up with a logo our primary product: the Core Data Analytics Solution. After meeting with staff and executives to learn more about the product and the Image we wanted to convey, I got to work coming up with options and soliciting feedback.
What Is CDAS?
The Core Data Analytics Solution, or CDAS, is an open-architecture technical solution that is designed to capture data across diverse systems to deliver meaningful information and insights. Specifically, CDAS was inspired by the need within the healthcare industry for an overarching data sharing and analytics solution that could bridge the gap between disparate systems. CDAS was intended to make it easier for people to connect with their data, and subsequently improve their overall health outcomes.
Key Words
As I sifted through background material and discussions, there were a set of key words and concepts that I kept coming back to: Innovative, person-centered, and transformative. Throughout the months-long design process, I tried to keep these ideas at the forefront. After much iteration and feedback, we finally landed on the below image as the final logo.
